About: Philippe Lafortune
Philippe Lafortune is a sales professional with over 20 years of experience in business development and IT consulting. He has worked for several large IT organizations and has distinguished himself by exceeding the expectations of his clients and employers.
Mr. Lafortune was director of marketing/business development for an analysts firm where he was responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining strategic customer relations.
Prior to that, he held the position of director of consulting services for IT consulting firms, where he proposed, developed and managed several major projects. He was responsible for major accounts: he oversaw deliverables and customer satisfaction and managed multidisciplinary teams.
Mr. Lafortune held a variety of positions in business development with consulting, professional services and analysts firms such as Cognicase and Technology Evaluation Centers.
Throughout the last two decades, he has sold millions and millions of dollars of technology services, IT projects, professional services, hardware, software and internet applications to businesses of all sizes. He has competed against high-priced consulting firms, low-cost providers, regional players, aggressive VC funded startups, Fortune 500 sales organizations, and hardware and software companies who are dominant in their vertical space.
Always working to exceed his objectives, he distinguished himself for his sense of organization and leadership. He is conscientious, dynamic, structured and has solid analytical skills. His extensive business and management experience has broadened both his perspective and abilities.
